I, too, have stumbled upon the world of gilrblogging lost and confused.
That is why I'm here helping all of my girlies out! I'm here to help make girlblogging an easy,
mind-freeing, and comforting experience, rather than making it something difficult or unsettling.
Among every piece of advice I'll be giving you, I'll start off by saying that girlblogging has no
true limitations or rules. We are all here to have fun documenting one anothers experiences and
struggles as women:).

It is common among the girlblogger community to have your role models. Whether
they be a man or a woman, there is always someone you truly look up to (not in a weird worship type
way though..).
Your role models should stand as your inspiration. Whether they inspire your style, your personality,
your makeup, etc., they will reflect your interests and the type of person you are. People also tend to
categorize people based on who you view as your role model, but as always, you can always be inspired by
anyone, as long as they aren't an absolute ass when it comes to their overall moral compass.
Common role models among girlbloggers:
Lana del rey
Megan fox
Lily Rose Depp
Natalie Portman
Kirsten Dunst
Adriana Lima
All of these beautiful women are known for many
different things, with some being known for their music career, their
acting career, their modeling career, and much more.
Your role models are of course not only limited to these 6, cause there are so
much more inspiring people that you can choose as your rolemodel/s.
My very own role models are Natalie Portman, Kirsten Dunst, and Megan Fox 🧁

There is nothing better than finding a piece of media in which you relate to.
The film industry creates many fun, interesting, and beautiful different films where you can find a
specific character to relate to. Using movies as an example, it's great to watch something with a plot
you relate to or something aesthetically pleasing to comfort you.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of movies or consuming media, but summer has given me a great oppurtunity
to discover many different forms of media, with my favorites being music and of course movies.
A director that is commonly mentioned by the girlblogging community is Sofia Coppola. I, myself, really
love her movies. Her movies always have great cinematography and set design. Aside from more superficial factors
as such, her movies always showcase a more personal touch of girlhood, hence why her movies are so popular among
the community.
Movies that I reccommend:
Black Swan
Priscilla
Jennifer's Body
The Virgin Suicides
These are my favorite movies (so far). Don't limit yourself to consume "girlblogger" movies,
there are many more beautiful movies that will portray your situation, how you feel, or maybe just the aesthetic you're
looking for.
Of course, this applies to all forms of media, like music. Find media that suits your tastes and your interests.

What I find great about girlblogging is that I don't have to change my personality in order to fit in.
As I said, girlblogging help women connect through personal experiences. Therefore, there is no need to change who you are
just to fit into the community.
Adding onto how girlblogging connects women, a big part of girlhood is of course, finding your personal style and exploring
makeup and/or beauty. The girlblogger community loves to curate different moodboards in which they add products or clothing
a favorite character of theirs would have in their closet or vanity.
So, imagine yourself as a character and curate your own vanity and wardrobe full of fun things! Pick out your favorite products and clothing
that matches your taste. Have as much fun with it as you want, if it matches your vibe, then go for it!
My personal moodboard/favorites:
Lipgloss
Heels/Wedges
Blush
Obviouslyyy these aren't ALL my favorites!! I'll tackle those in a different article hehe. Be you, girly! Pick out the things you truly love! Whether they be the same as mine, or not.
